Hi, friends! Thanks for being here! I’m Marissa. I am a Texas girl: born and raised. I’m 28 years old. Momma to a beautiful little girl, Brynlee. I have the cutest pup in all the land, Bella. I’m the daughter of two incredibly loving parents, Shannon and Peggy. I have a “little” brother, Seth. He is 8 years younger than me, but he has been my best friend since the day he was born.  I’m blessed with great in-laws and a bonus brother: Nancy, Joey, and Shelton. I love Jesus! I have lived in 5 US states, Dominican Republic, Japan, South Korea, and currently Taiwan with my high school sweetheart turned husband. My hub’s name is Tyler and he’s a professional baseball player, you can thank him for this blog... because it wouldn’t be near as interesting without him!

Y’all, forewarning, I’m not a pro and my grammar will not be perfect. So I apologize in advance! I know what some of you are thinking “She was going to be a teacher and can’t properly use a semicolon”... well, kindergarten isn’t exactly studying punctuation, so don’t worry!

Keep in mind these are my journals (notes on my iPhone notepad). They aren’t perfect, but they are my truths. The whole point of me putting them in writing, on the internet, for everyone to read (I think my anxiety is having its own panic attack) is: I thought maybe it could help another baseball WAG, shed some light on how our life actually works, share our travels, explain to my friends what I actually do all day, hopefully lead someone to Jesus, but mostly... I just don’t want to forget. I want to remember everything, because this life... it’s worth reliving 50 years from now, when I can’t quite remember how I managed to move across the world with nothing but a handful of suitcases, a dream, a baby, and a lot of love for my hunky husband!

Stay tuned and God Bless,

Marissa
